Ganduje Applauds Supreme Court Verdict Affirming Uzodimma, Ododo’s Election Victories

Abuja, Nigeria — The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has lauded the Supreme Court’s decision on Friday, which upheld the electoral victories of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and his Kogi State counterpart, Usman Ododo.

In a statement released on Sunday by Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, the former two-term governor of Kano State described the landmark judgment as a testament to the confidence the people of Imo and Kogi States have in the APC and its candidates. He also hailed the ruling as a reaffirmation of the rule of law and the integrity of Nigeria’s judicial system.

“The Supreme Court’s verdict is not just a victory for Governor Uzodimma and Governor Ododo but a victory for democracy and the rule of law in Nigeria. The thorough and unbiased adjudication by the court has further strengthened the democratic fabric of our great nation,” Ganduje stated.

He expressed pride in the exceptional leadership displayed by both governors in their respective states, urging them to continue their efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy to their people.

“I urge both Governors Uzodimma and Ododo to continue their outstanding work in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of their states and to uphold the values and principles that the APC stands for,” Ganduje added.

Ganduje also commended party members and supporters in Imo and Kogi States for their resilience and dedication throughout the electoral process and subsequent legal battles. He assured both governors of the APC’s full support as they continue to lead their states toward greater development.

“The APC remains committed to ensuring good governance and the welfare of all Nigerians,” Ganduje concluded, underscoring the party’s commitment to upholding democratic principles across the nation.
