
Amaobi Ogah, the federal lawmaker representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency at the National Assembly, has distributed empowerment items worth millions of naira to over 2,000 constituents as part of his one-year anniversary in office.

Speaking at the event, Ogah emphasized that the empowerment initiative was a result of strategic lobbying and a commitment to addressing immediate challenges in his constituency. “This is just the beginning,” he said, adding that the 2024 Christmas season will also feature significant gestures.
Achievements and Future Plans
Ogah highlighted his contributions to infrastructure, road construction, health, and education, as well as scholarships awarded to 88 students—22 on full sponsorship by him and 66 through his foundation.
He also shared legislative progress, including his bill advocating for the creation of Etiti State, which has passed the second reading, and his push to make malaria treatment free in Nigerian hospitals.

Ogah encouraged constructive criticism, stating that it helps foster progress. He urged opponents involved in legal challenges over his election victory to cease distractions, emphasizing his focus on delivering the “dividends of democracy.”
