
Juventus Near Alberto Costa Deal
Italian giants Juventus are set to finalize the transfer of Portuguese right-back Alberto Costa from Vitória SC. The club has submitted a €15 million bid, surpassing Sporting CP’s €12 million offer.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Juventus has also agreed to a five-year contract with Costa. The deal is expected to be completed within the next 24 to 48 hours.
“Juventus are closing in on Alberto Costa deal, exclusively revealed two days ago. Official bid sent to Vitória worth €15m package, more than Sporting with €12m. Agreement in place also with the Portuguese RB on five-year deal. Juve want to get it done in 24/48h,” Romano stated.
Renato Veiga Likely to Join Borussia Dortmund
Chelsea’s Renato Veiga is set for a permanent exit, with Borussia Dortmund emerging as his likely destination. Chelsea values Veiga at €30 million, and the player prefers a center-back role over his current left-back position.
Romano reported that Dortmund has reached full agreement on personal terms and the club’s project for Veiga.
“Renato Veiga, expected to leave Chelsea as club opened the doors to permanent exit — not loan. Full agreement Borussia Dortmund-Veiga on contract/project, in place,” said Romano.
Southampton Push to Retain Kyle Walker-Peters
Southampton are making a final effort to extend Kyle Walker-Peters’ contract before it expires in six months. If unsuccessful, the defender may leave on a free transfer during the summer.
Noah Okafor Set for RB Leipzig Loan
Swiss forward Noah Okafor is joining RB Leipzig on a €1 million loan deal. Leipzig will fully cover his salary, with a non-mandatory buy option ranging between €25–28 million. Okafor is expected to finalize the move upon his arrival in Leipzig today.
