RCCG Provides Free Medical Surgeries to Celebrate Pastor Adeboye’s 83rd Birthday

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has announced a free medical outreach, including surgeries, to commemorate the 83rd birthday of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Adeboye, born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, will mark his birthday on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by his son, Pastor Leke Adeboye, the initiative is part of RCCG’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes aimed at providing free medical services to the public.

Comprehensive Healthcare Services

The programme, which will be executed through the Redeemer’s Health Centre (RHC), will cover a wide range of medical services, including:

Obstetrics and gynaecology procedures
General and specialized surgeries
Eye surgeries and provision of reading glasses
Dialysis sessions
General medical consultations

The church encouraged interested individuals to register for the free medical services by contacting the designated phone numbers or visiting the RHC premises.

Commitment to Community Welfare

The statement highlighted Pastor Adeboye’s longstanding dedication to humanitarian efforts through RCCG’s CSR initiatives.

“Pastor Adeboye’s commitment to giving back to society is evident in the church’s numerous CSR programmes, which have impacted over 166 million lives and completed over 990,000 projects,” the statement read.

The church further noted that over nine million individuals have benefited from free healthcare services, with 33,052 completed healthcare projects and the establishment of four intensive care units across various locations.

“This initiative reflects Pastor Adeboye’s unwavering commitment to serving humanity and making a meaningful impact on society,” the RCCG added.

The free medical outreach underscores RCCG’s broader mission to improve healthcare access and provide relief to those in need, reinforcing the church’s role in social development and community service.
