Nigeria continues to dominate women’s football on the continent, with the top five African teams ranked as follows:
- Nigeria (36th globally)
- South Africa – Banyana Banyana (53rd globally)
- Morocco (61st globally)
- Zambia (62nd globally)
- Ghana (66th globally)
Super Falcons’ Recent Performance
During the latest ranking period, the Super Falcons recorded two wins and one loss:

✅ 4-1 victory against Algeria
❌ 2-1 defeat to France’s Les Bleues
Despite the mixed results, Nigeria remains unchallenged in African women’s football and continues to hold a respectable position in the global rankings.
