Mohamed Salah Wins Premier League Player of the Month, Equals Historic Record

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for February, equalling the all-time record for the most POTM awards won by a single player.

The Premier League announced the Egyptian’s latest triumph on Friday via X, confirming that Salah now joins Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero at the top of the list with seven Player of the Month awards.

Record-Breaking Achievement

Salah’s outstanding form in February saw him contribute ten goal involvements, playing a crucial role in Liverpool’s title charge. His performances helped the Reds maintain their strong position in the Premier League race, reinforcing his status as one of the league’s greatest forwards.

The Premier League acknowledged his achievement in a statement:

“No player has won more EA Sports FC Player of the Month awards than Mohamed Salah. He goes level with Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero on seven.”

Liverpool’s Title Ambitions Boosted

Salah’s recognition comes at a pivotal moment for Jürgen Klopp’s side, who are aiming to reclaim the Premier League title. With the Egyptian talisman in top form, Liverpool will be hopeful of maintaining their momentum in the final stretch of the season.
