Al Hilal Plot Fresh Bid for Victor Osimhen After Initial Rejection

Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al Hilal are pressing ahead with efforts to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, despite the Napoli star rejecting an offer from the club just 10 days ago.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed on Monday that Al Hilal are preparing a renewed proposal in a bid to lure the prolific forward to the Middle East. “Al Hilal are not giving up on Victor Osimhen as they want to submit [a] new proposal to the player. Osimhen rejected 10 days ago but Al Hilal insist,” Romano reported.

The 25-year-old remains one of the hottest properties in global football, with his future a key storyline this transfer window. Though he turned down Al Hilal’s initial approach, the club’s persistence signals serious intent, as they look to bolster their star-studded squad.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray are said to be confident of pulling off what would be a record signing for the Turkish club, while several Premier League sides have also expressed interest. Juventus, who were previously linked with Osimhen, have reportedly reopened talks in recent days.

Osimhen’s value continues to soar after a stellar season, and with his next move still undecided, the transfer race for the Super Eagles striker is wide open.
