AWKA, Nigeria — The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has extended warm congratulations to Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader and a cornerstone of the party’s progressive agenda.

In a statement issued on Monday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, APGA praised Soludo’s lifelong commitment to public service, governance reform, and economic transformation, both at state and national levels.

“Happy 65th birthday to our visionary leader, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo. Today, we celebrate a remarkable individual who has dedicated his life to public service and transformative leadership,” the statement read.

As the National Leader of APGA, Soludo has been credited with reinvigorating the party’s ideological foundation and inspiring a new generation of civic-minded leaders. Opara noted that under Soludo’s “astute leadership,” APGA continues to thrive and expand its influence across Nigeria.

“His leadership has continued to inspire a new generation of leaders and citizens alike,” Opara said.

APGA also highlighted Soludo’s broad legacy, describing him as an “unquestionably outstanding figure” whose impact spans economic policy, academia, and politics. From serving as a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria to implementing grassroots-driven reforms in Anambra State, Soludo has consistently exemplified competence and innovation.

“Soludo’s commitment to good governance, economic development, and social justice has set a new standard for the party, the state and the nation at large,” the party declared.

A Visionary Leader for the Nation

Marking his milestone 65th birthday, APGA emphasized that Soludo’s journey serves as a model of courage, conviction, and purpose-driven leadership. The party expressed confidence that his continued guidance would further elevate APGA’s national relevance.

“As we mark this milestone birthday, we celebrate not just a leader, but a visionary who has shown us that with courage, conviction, and determination, we can build a brighter future for all Nigerians.”
