Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointment of chairpersons and members of governing councils for five state-owned tertiary institutions. The announcement was contained in an official statement issued on Thursday by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, are part of the state government’s efforts to strengthen governance and enhance the quality of tertiary education in Oyo State.
According to the statement, the appointments reflect Governor Makinde’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and effective administration across higher institutions in the state.
