Kano, Nigeria – Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, joined residents of Kano State on Monday evening to break the third-day Ramadan fast, alongside key political figures, including the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) chairman, Hashimu Dugurawa.

As part of the occasion, Tinubu also launched a feeding programme aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities. The initiative is part of the Renewed Hope Youth Engagement programme, which aligns with the Tinubu administration’s broader Renewed Hope Agenda.

Commitment to Community Service

Unveiling the programme at Al-Furqan Mosque in Kano metropolis, Seyi Tinubu emphasized the importance of community service, particularly during Ramadan.

“This initiative is aimed at supporting the less privileged and fostering unity, especially during this holy month,” he stated.

He reaffirmed his commitment to uplifting the underprivileged through sustainable interventions.

High-Profile Visits and Iftar Gathering

Before the Iftar, Seyi Tinubu visited Kano-based business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, at his residence. He also paid a courtesy visit to Governor Abba Yusuf before heading to the Amani Event Centre, where the Iftar meal was held.

The feeding programme is expected to alleviate hunger and provide relief for the less privileged in Kano State throughout Ramadan.
